Answered questions:

Q: Who is the only original cast member?
A: Stacey.

Q: Who is Trisha?
A: Trisha is the daughter of Clay Alden and Gwyneth Alden. Her brothers are Curtis Alden and Rick Alden (now deceased). Trisha has "died" many times. "Trisha" died in a van explosion Jeff Hartman had masterminded. (It wasn't Trisha, but everyone thought it was.) She again "died" in a car accident, but in reality, a female carjacker had taken her car and it was this female that was burned beyond all recognition. Trisha was thrown from the car, and she suffered amnesia. She wondered into a diner and got a job. A waitress there thought her bruises looked like someone beat her. Trisha went to the police, but no one had reported a missing person with her description. Jeff was released from the mental hospital since he could no longer be a threat to Trisha (she was "dead", remember) and he just happened to eat at the diner Trisha was working at. To Jeff's credit, he did try to call Trucker and the Alden's - but they were not home...they were all that the funeral service (but Jeff didn't know that). His insane obsession for Trisha got the better of him, and he invited her to go to Europe to start a new life with him, to forget her past (since she had amnesia, that wasn't too hard for her to do) and to be his personal assistant. So, Jeff and Trisha are living happily (?) in Rome.

Q: Didn't Angie and Jeremy move to Corinth from Pine Valley?
A: Yes. The All My Children characters visit Corinth occassionally. Jeremy moved to Corinth to be a teacher at Alden University. Angie returned from the West Coast to be a doctor at Corinth Hospital. She told Jeremy that she did not go back to Pine Valley since there are too many memories of Jessie there.

Q: How many times (and to who) has Ava been married?
A: Jack Forbes, Curtis Alden, Clay Alden (Alex), Alex Masters (in secret).

Q: How many kids does Kate have?
A: Kate usually mentions her 8 kids, but we have only seen Ava (youngest), Carlie, Ally's Dad, Shari (who sold Ava her baby so Ava could keep Jack...but Shari came back to reclaim him)

Q: Members of the Alden family who we wish would return.
A: Lorna (the witch)! Jack, he's gotta float up sometime. Ann, she could fight Clay & Gwyn for AE. Trisha ('enuf said).

Q: What is the story about Alex pretending to be Clay?
A: Chroniclogically (or close): Warning...this is probably MORE than you ever wanted to know - but it goes to show how intertwinned the stories get :-)

  1. Alex/Clay came to town.
  2. Ava married him as Clay.
  3. Ava discovered he was Alex and helped him remain Clay (she told him Clay was alergic to seafood...which Alex mentioned when he told Dinah Lee that he knew more about Clay than Clay did - he even knows what Clay is alergic to...which I though was good continuity).
  4. Ava married him (secretly) as Alex.
  5. Egypt saw Alex/Clay's face on the cover of a magazine and came to Corinth.
  6. Alex couldn't find his divorce papers, so he gave her a fake set. She saw through that, but decided to remain mum about his being Alex, not Clay...if he made her the hostess of "Image".
  7. Ava was pregnant but had a miscarriage. She later found out she had been carrying twins and one had survived.
  8. Dan Hollister, who knew Alex/Clay had evidense against him, told Ava Alex and Egypt were having an affair (not true).
  9. Ava went to Las Vegas and almost ended up in an harem. Alex follwed her there and followed her on board a plane home.
  10. Ava gave birth to Sandy on a plane, with Alex by her side. They named him after Cabot (this I am sure of, but I do not know how) and AlexSANDer (I am pretty sure his real name is not Sandy...).
  11. Alex/Clay dissapeared during Sandy's christening.
  12. Harry Sowolsky was arrested for Alex/Clay's murder.
  13. Clay came home.
  14. Alex was in a hospital in Central America. He escaped. Abril and Lucho found him and nursed him back to health. Jack found Alex.
  15. Clay told Ava she was in danger,a nd he took her away and tried to bed her (didn't work).
  16. Alex came back to Corinth, wounded. Egypt was thrilled to hide him and nurse him back to health. Egypt removed the bullet from Alex.
  17. Clay made Alex BELIEVE he was having an affair with Ava ("You know she's after the Alden prestigue...")
  18. Ava and Eqypt had the jello fight.
  19. Clay made Ava beleive Alex was having an affair with Egypt.
  20. Alex (from the POW brainwashing) tried to kill Clay. Ava stopped him and Alex took this as a sign that Ava loved Clay.
  21. Ava "admitted" to Alex about her affair with Clay, since she thought Alex was having one with Egypt, so she hurt him, too. (Remember, neither was true, yet.)
  22. Alex had an affair with Egypt.
  23. Ava got a job at Armourelle.
  24. Alex kidnapped Sandy and left him with Abrill at Jack's.
  25. Clay told Alex that Clay and Ava would be married.
  26. Ava and Alex aggreed to let Sandy stay with Kate. (Alex refused to let Clay raise his son, and Ava refused to let Alex have him, since he needed theraphy for trying to kill Clay.)
  27. Alex, Trucker, Ava, Clay and a lot of Corinth residents went to Maine.
  28. Alex wanted to get info on Clay to ruin him (about the accident, I think). Ava ended up in a mental hospital. Clay and Alex ended up in a mine shaft, and Clay pulled a gun on Alex, but admitted he couldn't kill him.
  29. Alex went for theraphy.
  30. Egypt decided to have Alex's baby...now, if she could just get him to cooperate...
  31. "Trisha" died in a van explosing Jeff had masterminded. (It wasn't Trisha, but everyone thought it was...sound familiar?)
  32. Egypt was pregnant, and she decided to have the baby, with or without Alex.
  33. When Clay found out that Ava and Alex were back together, Clay told Alex Egypt was pregnant - with Alex's baby.
  34. Alex married Egypt, they had Alexis and moved out of town.

Q: When did LOVING premiere?
A: June 26, 1983. LOVING began as an ABC Sunday Night Movie. The series premiered the next day.

Q: How many boyfriends of Trisha's has Gwyn slept with either before, during, or after Trisha?
A: There was Trucker (Gwyn had him before Trisha) and Jeff (Gwyn had him during Trisha). As far as I know, Gwyn did not ever sleep with Steve Sowolsky, Trisha's first husband.

Q: How did Steve Sowolsky die?
A: Steve was in a bank, protecting Stacey and JJ during a bank holdup. Steve got shot and he died in the hospital. Later, Trisha returned to their house and saw Steve's ghost, telling her to have a good life, and to go on living.

Q: What does the Alden family tree look like?
A: Kind of like this:

Q: What is Shana's maiden name?
A: Shana Sloane.

Q: The actor who plays Trevor on AMC (James Kilberd) played someone on LOVING. Who, and what is his story?
A: James Kilberd played Mike Donovan. Brother of Stacey. According to Complete Illustrated History of the Soaps (1990), when Loving began, Vietnam vet Mike Donovan was married to a pretty nurse, named Noreen Vochek. Their union did not last very long. Harry Sowalsky kidnapped Shana. In trying to save her, Mike fired a few too many shots and his police superiors insisted he get therapy about his Vietnam nightmares. Shana and Mike engaged in a romantic relationship which resulted in their engagement. Mike broke off his engagement with Shana when he decided to reconcile with Noreen. (The book says nothing about them after that.)

Trevor also came back to Loving chasing a criminal. He and Shana got into a traffic accident on his way back to Pine Valley. They argued about who was at fault and both mumbled soemthing about having pity for the person the other lives with.

Q: What happened to Jack?
A: Jack is presumed drowned - he fell off the boat on the honeymoon for his second marriage to Stacey. A body was found, but Clay identified it and Jeremy later proved it was NOT Jack. Clay identified it because he wanted to marry Stacey and drive her crazy so that he would own controlling interest in Alden Enterprises....so that he could destroy it. Stacey pined for Jack when it first happened, that's why is was so vunerable to Clay's advances. Nothing more is said about him, lately.

Q: Wasn't Shana in love with a Priest? What happened?
A: Yes. Father Jim Vochek. Brother of Noreen. When Mike broke off with Shana, she was heartbroken, but with the help of Father Jim she was able to get on with her life. Shana wanted a divorce since she felt that the church would always come between her and Jim. Dan Hollister took advantage of Shana's vulnerability and started dating her. Jim warned Dan that history would not repeat itself, refering to the brief relationship Dan and Shana had years before after Jim returned to the seminary. Shana flew to Reno for a quickie divorce. Jim followed her there but thanks to Cabot and Dan's machinations, the two never hooked up. True love won out in the end though and Jim and Shana remarried in Rome, where they first fell in love.

Unfortunately, Dane had Shana at the airport awaiting Jim and the baby's (Jimmy's) return. The plane crashed. No surviors. Shana couldn't deal with the trama and went back in time to when Dane brought her to Corinth the first time (to blackmail Cabot since she was an illegitimate child of Cabot's). She slowly remembered, and when she did, it was like Jim died all over again. Now, she goes to Jim and Jimmy's graves to talk ocassionally. She told them that she wanted another baby when she was first thinking of artificial insemination.

Q: Is Ann an "original" Alden or a married Alden? Who did she marry and what happened to him?

A: Anne is an Alden by birth. She married Roger Forbes. Anne had Jack (Dane Hammond was the father, we're not sure if Anne had Jack or adopted Jack, Roger definately adopted Jack). Roger Forbes was played by John Shearin. Merrill Vochek had an affair with Roger. Anne kicked Roger out. The book I have to suplement my knowledge does not say anything about Roger's death...nor Anne's grief. (It might, I just skimmed looking for "Roger" and didn't see anything more.)

Q: Why does Clay hate Alex Masters so much?

A: Randolph Mantooth was playing Clay. But really, he was Alex Masters pretending to be Clay. He was accepted into the family (actually, they liked him better than the old Clay). The real Clay returned and was not happy that the family perferred Alex's Clay to the real one. So, Clay decided to destroy Alex. Clay took Ava away from Alex. Alex married Egypt and moved away with his and Ava's son, Sandy. There was a well involved (but not nearly as long as Natalie's stay) where Alex and Clay had to work together to get out and we learned about their interment in a prisoner of war camp and how Alex was brainwashed and his strange behavior was becasue of the brainwashing and how Alex just wanted to be part of Clay's family, and he had grown to know and love the Alden's from Clay's stories and he didn't want them to think their son had died, so he pretened to be Clay. I remember one episode when people started to wonder since Clay is alergic to seafood and Alex loved it. Ava told him to be careful, he's alergic to seafood. Ava married Alex when he was Clay and when the real Clay came back, he told her that meant she was married to Clay Alden...whoever that was. But, Ava had married Alex in a secret ceremony once she learned he was pretending to be Clay Alden (she wanted to be an Alden more than anything).

Q: What is the difference between Kate's and 35 Maple Drive?

A: Kate's is a boarding house located near the train tracks. Tess is a boarder. 35 Maple Drive, not used much anymore, was a dorm room used for the students at Alden University (which included Steffanie, Ally, and Casey ocassionally). Ally wanted to live there instead of Kate's to prove her independance and to get otu from under her grandmother's rule.

Q: What is going on with Ally, Casey, Stephanie, and Cooper?

A: Ally and Casey are madly in love with each other, and have been for quite some time. Ally and Cooper spent the night together (once) when they went to New York (Ally to see Carley and Cooper to surprise Hannah). Cooper was the one that was surprised, when he saw Hannah, getting out from teh shower at her piano tutor's house, thanking the tutor for "last night" and how it was as wonderful as he said it would be. Cooper, of course, thought sex, and never let Hannah explain that she was talking about a piano duet.) Hurt and feeling betrayed, Cooper turned to Ally, who herself felt betrayed by Casey. So the two slept together. Ally got pregnant. Ally is very worried about money and stuff. The three got together and agreed that Ally and Cooper would get married so the baby would have health coverage during delivery and would get a trust fund. Then Cooper and Ally would get divorced. So, Ally and Cooper got married just before the baby was born. Casey ended up being with Ally when the baby was delivered, which was good since he had been to all of the Lamaze classes with Ally.

Cooper has fallen in love (maybe, it's hard to tell sometimes) with Ally. Ally doesn't love Cooper, she's still in love with Casey. Cooper was being very manipulative, and I don't care for him much. He has arranged with his Aunt Isabel for her to "disown" him. He followed Ally when she moved out of the mansion. He hasn't really lost his trust fund, and Tyler will always have money. He is now using this incident with Tyler to guilt Ally into staying with him. Casey found out, and Cooper, through the goodness of his heart, finally gave up on Ally (which is one of the reasons that Casey doesn't like him). Casey and Ally are now married.

Q: What is the connection with LOVING and All My Children?

A:

Q: What is Casey's background? Does he have family?

A: Casey's father was Giff Bowman. Casey's mother died and Giff left his son. Giff also became obsessed with Trisha, and he kidnapped her and took her to the AE University Bell Tower, where he shot Trucker and they both fell from the tower. Giff died. Casey took it hard and blamed himself for not seeing it coming.

Q: Who is Harry J. Sowolsky and why are his predictions important?

A: Harry J. Sowolsky was Kate's brother. He died in an avalanche in Alaska (no, we're NOT sure...but more on that later). Harry was also Steve's father, and therefore Trisha's father-in-law. Harry was a gambler, and an ex-con. He was hired by Dane to blackmail Shana with compromising photos of her and Father Vochek. Shana counterhired Harry to steal the photos and she got kidnapped by Harry at the exchange.

Harry left Corinth when he couldn't have Ann or Gwyn. They both found out that he was sleeping with both, so they decided he would have neither.

Kate got word that Harry had died in an avalanche. She inherited all his money. She and Louie lost the money in a bad deal.

Ava has a out-off-body, near-death experience where she met harry, and he wanted to play cards with her. He took her to a balcony (she mentioned later that it looked like the Alden Mansion's) balcony and told her that she could either stay with him (and therefore die) or go back. he told her if she went back, it wouldn't be easy. He showed her what was going to happen in the next year. Ava decided that she loved Alex and Sandy and everyone and she wanted to go back, no matter how hard it would be. When Ava came out of the coma, she remembered bits and pieces. She consulted a psychic, but no one could give her the answers she was looking for. Ava mentions Harry's predictions (for 1994) once in a while. They were:

Q: Is there a list of character's birthday's?

A: This is the list so far:
Trucker February 3rd
Cooper April 28th (21 in 1994)
Tyler May 25, 1993
Patti November 2, 1993 (now in Paris with Shana and Leo)

Q: What is the Trisha/Trucker/Jeff Hartman story?

A: Jeff Hartman came on the show by telling Gwyn (who was in charge of a TV show for Alden Enterprises...and a special division, whose name escapes me but I'll think of it...) Anyhow, he met Gwyn by saying Barbara Walters was interested in being the host of the talk show...but he met her instead, and charmed his way into Gwyn's show. He was the producer. He slept with Gwyn, who video taped one of the sessions. He also slept with Trisha, Gwyn's daughter (not that this is unusual, Gwyn has a history of sleeping with people before Trisha did...)

Anyhow. Gwyn was blackmailing him with the tape. Jeff loved Trisha, but he went a little crazy. He had Gwyn pretend Trucker got mad and hit her. Trisha was upset, so Jeff wisked her off to Rome and married her. Trucker figured out where they went, and he flew off to "rescue" her. He and Jeff had a fight, and Jeff fell off a balcony. He was in a wheel chair. Jeff could walk, but he knew if he stayed in the chair, he'd keep Trisah. But, her love for Trucker won out and she had an affair with Trucker, while married to Jeff. He found this out, and decided to have someone kidnap her so that he could rescue her. The kidnapping did not go as well as Jeff planned, and the female kidnapper was blown up in the van that everyone thought Trisha was in. (Presumed dead #1). Jeff really had her at a house not far from Corinth, but the viewers (and Trisha) were lead to beleive that she was in Rome...Jeff had an Italian paper with the headline that Trucker died in a plane crash on his way to see her. We (the viewers) were wondering how Jeff got between Corinth and Rome so quickly.

Stacey followed a lady who she bumped into at the market, buying all of Trisha's favorite foods. Jack (Stacey's husband) and Trucker bust in and rescued Trisha. Jeff escaped, but he fell on some rocks and the police caught up with him. That's when he went to the mental hospital.

At Trisha's bridal shower, Jeff managed to get a copy of the video tape there (Gwyn thought it was a tape of Trisha growing up.) Jeff escaped and cornered Trisha upstairs and told her that he and her mother had had an affair, and that he loved her and he always would, and she would be his...Alex (pretending to be Clay then, but that's another long story), was wondering why Trisha was up stairs for so long, and he rescued her. The police recaptured Jeff, dragging him out of the house as he was telling her that he slept with Gwyn. Gwyn, of course, denied this and Trisha seemed to let it go...then they went back to the shower, and played the tape. Isabelle fainted, Trisah just stared at her mother and told her she never wanted to see her again (this was an ongoing "I hate you/I forgive you" relationship).

So, Jeff was in the mental hospital, Trisha married Trucker. They had a baby, but it died, and they tried to adopt Abril's baby (whose father was Clay, the real Clay by now, but everyone thought it was Monty, a sleeze Abril met at Alden Enterprises). So, Trisha and Trucker had little Tommy for a while. Then Cabot "died" and Clay found out that if he had another child, he would get Alden Enterprises...and he found out his grandchild was his, so he proceeded to get Tommy. Abril came back to Corinth (she left after giving Tommy to Trisha and Trucker)..and the judge gave her custody. So Abril and Tommy are living happily ever after and are never mentioned... Anyhow. Buck came to town and played Trisha to get close to Trucker (who did not know that Buck was his half-brother). Buck was tied to Curtis, but no one but them knew how. Seems Buck was flying the helicopter that rescued Tess from Dante in Kuait. Curtis shot, adn thought he killed, Dante. he was in love with Tess, and Dante was abusing her. Well, Dante was not dead, and he came back to taunt Curtis.

But, I'm getting off track here...

Buck and Curtis had a secret. Trisha was trying to find out how they knew each other (Curtis didn't want the family to know he killed someone). Trisha was on her way to talk to Curtis about Buck when she was car-napped and the car-napper got into an accident and drove off the rode. Of course, the body was burned beyond recognition, and some jewlery of Trisha's was found at the scene (the car-napper robbed her, too and knocked her out). Trisha was thrown from the car, and she awoke with a headache and amnesia. She wandered around and ended up at a diner, not far from Jeff's mental hospital. The waitress there thought she had been abused. They checked the police record, and no one had reported a missing person matching her description. So, Trisha worked at the diner while trying to figure out what to do with her life.

Jeff was released the day Trisha was declared dead. The hospital people figured he wouldn't be a threat, if she was dead. He was hungry, so he stopped at the diner. He saw Trisha, and realized she had amnesia. To give him *some* credit, he did try to call the family to tell them she was ALIve, but they were at the wake.

He asked her if she's like to be his personal assistant...in Rome. She said that sounded like a terrific idea. And the next time we saw Jeff was when Shana and Leo moved to Rome. We never saw Trisha again, just the back of a lady...(the original actress left to do "other" things...and wasn't available to come back).

Jeff Hartman....

where to start.

He came on the show by telling Gwyn (who was in charge of a TV show for
Alden Enterprises...and a special division, whose name escapes me but
I'll think of it...) Anyhow, he met Gwyn by saying Barbara Walters
was interested in being the host of the talk show...but he met her
instead, and charmed his way into Gwyn's show. He was the producer.
He slept with Gwyn, who video taped one of the sessions. He also slept
with Trisha, Gwyn's daughter (not that this is unusual, Gwyn has a

Anyhow. Gwyn was blackmailing him with the tape. Jeff loved Trisha, but
he went a little crazy. He had Gwyn pretend Trucker got mad and hit her.
Trisha was upset, so Jeff wisked her off to Rome and married her. Trucker
figured out where they went, and he flew off to "rescue" her. He and
Jeff had a fight, and Jeff fell off a balcony. He was in a wheel chair.
Jeff could walk, but he knew if he stayed in the chair, he'd keep Trisah.
But, her love for Trucker won out and she had an affair with Trucker,
while married to Jeff. He found this out, and decided to have someone
kidnap her so that he could rescue her. The kidnapping did not
go as well as Jeff planned, and the female kidnapper was blown up in
the van that everyone thought Trisha was in. (Presumed dead #1). Jeff

there (Gwyn thought it was a tape of Trisha growing up.) Jeff escaped and
cornered Trisha upstairs and told her that he and her mother had had
an affair, and that he loved her and he always would, and she would be
his...Alex (pretending to be Clay then, but that's another long story),
was wondering why Trisha was up stairs for so long, and he rescued her.
The police recaptured Jeff, dragging him out of the house as he was telling
her that he slept with Gwyn. Gwyn, of course, denied this and Trisha seemed
to let it go...then they went back to the shower, and played the tape.
Isabelle fainted, Trisah just stared at her mother and told her she

rescued Tess from Dante in Kuait. Curtis shot, adn thought he killed, Dante.
he was in love with Tess, and Dante was abusing her. Well, Dante was not
dead, and he came back to taunt Curtis.

But, I'm getting off track ehre...

Buck and Curtis had a secret. Trisha was trying to find out how they knew
each other (Curtis didn't want the family to know he killed someone).
Trisha was on her way to talk to Curtis about Buck when she was car-napped
and the car-napper got into an accident and drove off the rode. Of
course, the body was burned beyond recognition, and some jewlery of
Trisha's was found at the scene (the car-napper robbed her, too and
knocked her out). Trisha was thrown from the car, and she awoke with a
headache and amnesia. She wandered around and ended up at a diner, not
far from Jeff's mental hospital. The waitress there thought she had been
abused. They checked the police record, and no one had reported a missing
person matching her description. So, Trisha worked at the diner while
trying to figure out what to do with her life.

Jeff was released the day Trisha was declared dead. The hospital people
figured he wouldn't be a threat, if she was dead. He was hungry, so he
stopped at the diner. He saw Trisha, and realized she had amnesia. To
give him *some* credit, he did try to call the family to tell them she was
alive, but they were at the wake.

He asked her if she's like to be his personal assistant...in Rome. Shje
said that sounded like a terrific idea. And the next time we saw Jeff was
when Shana and Leo moved to Rome. We never saw Triha again, just the back
of a lady...(the original actress left to do "other" things...and wasn't
available to come back).

That should bring you up-to-date....and then some.

Let me know if I raised any other questions.

I *love* doing this.

>Is this the same Shana who married Jim and disappered ?

Yes.

>Were is Jim ?

Unfortunately, Jim and Jimmy died in an airplane crash at the Corinth
International Airport. Dane Hammond had driven Shana there to meet her
husband and son. When she saw the plane crash, she regressed to the
first time Dane brought her to Corinth (to blackmail Cabot) and she
blocked out Jim and Jimmy. It took a while, and lots of patience on
Cabot's and the rest of the family's part, but she regained her memory
and mourned Jim and Jimmy.

>Whose baby is Shana having ?

Shana wanted another baby. She went to Jim and Jimmy's grave a
discussed this with them. She wanted to be artifically inseminated,
and she picked Ava's current boyfriend, who jsut happened to need
money to keep his store operating. The artifical insemination bit
didn't work, sothey decided to do it the old fashioned way. She was
thrilled when she found out she was pregnant, but it broke up Ava and
Leo. Shana and Leo, of course, hated each other, but are now in love.

>Is she remarried ?

She is engaged (finally) to Leo, but they did not get married before
Patrica (Patty)...named for Trisha...was born.

>Is Shana in control of Alden enterprises or is Clay still around ?

Clay is in charge of Alden Enterprises, in more ways than one. Not
only is he CEO...sorry, co-CEO (Gwyn is the otehr co-CEO), but he has
controlling shares of AE stock. His mother gave them to him when he
was in the process, with Leo, of buying up all the AE stock they could
get...Clay even married Stacey after Jack was presumed drowned (on his
second honeymoon with Stacey, they took the Alden yacht and he went
out on the deck late at night and fell over). Clay married Stacey and
tried to driver her crazy (she did end up in a mental hospital), but
Jeremy proved she was not crazy.

>Do ALex and Ava ever get back together (Alex has just married
>Egypt) ??

Alex and Eqypt leave town to live happily-ever-after. Ava agrees that
Alex should raise Sandy, so he leaves to live with his father and
step-motehr. Then, after a massive campaign here to "Bring Back
Randy!", Randolph Mantooth has returned to Corinth (where he belongs,
I add!) and it seems that all is not as it seems. He has told Ava he
is in love with her (but we have reason to beleive there are other
reasons for Alex's return). Sandsy has returned, too.

>What happens to Isabelle's face because of the cream that Clay
>stole from Alex and Jack ?

Isabelle left the show for a little while, and returns, all better,
and has completely forgiven her son.

>Who is Ava married to now ?

Right now, no one. She was involved with Leo, then Shana got pregnant.
She had, up until very recently, been involved with Jeremy (from AMC),
but he called it off when he found he could not compete with her
feelings for Alex.

>Where does Dane go to ? (Jack has just found out he set up
>Clay to steal the wrong cream and has told him to leave)

Dane does not leave (at least not because of the cream). Later, the
real estate market colapses, and Dane is BROKE. he tries to marry
Shana (for her money), but she sees through him, even though he tries
to hide his financial situation from him. She almost agrees to marry
him, but she talks to Jim and Jimmy (this is a long time before Leo)
and decides that there will never be anyone for her, she'll just have
to love Jim and Jimmy and wait until she can join them.

>Anyone who can answer my questions feel free.

No problem, I love doing this.

The question I have, actually, is I'm trying to remember as much as
I can about the character that AMC's Trevor played in the very beginning
of the soap. All I remember about him was he was a Vet, I thought he
was a cop, and I think his name was Mike. Who was he involved with?

What happened to Jack? Does Stacy ever pine after him, still? And in
ABC Soap time, how old is Jack Junior?

(I watched Loving when it first came on, liked it, but couldn't keep
up since I was in school.. and just haven't caught it until recently..)

And who was the Father that Shana was in love with, which brought her to
Corinth in the first place? And didn't they get married, and he gave up
his priesthood for her?

Trying to remember..

(Needless to say, Ava hasn't changed a bit, even if the actress has..)

Correct. Mike Donovan. Brother of Stacey. According to Complete
Illustrated History of the Soaps (1990), when Loving began, Vietnam
vet Mike Donovan was married to a pretty nurse, named Noreen Vochek.
Their union did not last very long. Harry Sowalsky kidnapped Shana. In
trying to save her, Mike fired a few too many shots and his police
superiors insisted he get therapy about his Vietnam nightmares. Shana
and Mike engaged in a romantic relationship which resulted in their
engagement. Mike broke off his engagement with Shana when he decided
to reconcile with Noreen. (The book says nothing about them after that.)

>What happened to Jack? Does Stacy ever pine after him, still? And in
>ABC Soap time, how old is Jack Junior?

Jack is presumed drowned - he fell off the boat on the honeymoon for
his second marriage to Stacey. A body was found, but Clay identified
it and Jeremy later proved it was NOT Jack. Clay identified it because
he wanted to marry Stacey and drive her crazy so that he would own
controlling interest in Alden Enterprises....so that he could destroy
it. Stacey pined for Jack when it first happened, that's why is was so
vunerable to Clay's advances. Nothing more is said about him, lately.
I'm not sure about JJ. He was a baby when Steve died from the bank
robbers shoting him, and that's when I started watching.

>(I watched Loving when it first came on, liked it, but couldn't keep

Welcome back!

>And who was the Father that Shana was in love with, which brought her to
>Corinth in the first place? And didn't they get married, and he gave up
>his priesthood for her?

Yes. Father Jim Vochek. Brother of Noreen. When Mike broke off with
Shana, she was heartbroken, but with the help of Father Jim she was
able to get on with her life. Shana wanted a divorce since she felt
that the church would always come between her and Jim. Dan Hollister
took advantage of Shana's vulnerability and started dating her. Jim
warned Dan that history would not repeat itself, refering to the brief
relationship Dan and Shana had years before after Jim returned to the
seminary. Shana flew to Reno for a quickie divorce. Jim followed her
there but thanks to Cabot and Dan's machinations, the two never
hooked up. True love won out in the end though and Jim and Shana
remarried in Rome, where they first fell in love.

Unfortunately, Dane had Shana at the airport awaiting Jim and the
baby's (Jimmy's) return. The plane crashed. No surviors. Shana
couldn't deal with the trama and went back in time to when Dane
brought her to Corinth the first time (to blackmail Cabot since she
was an illegitimate child of Cabot's). She slowly remembered, and when
she did, it was like Jim died all over again. Now, she goes to Jim and
Jimmy's graves to talk ocassionally. She told them that she wanted
another baby when she was first thinking of artificial insemination.

>Trying to remember..

Hoping I helped.

>(Needless to say, Ava hasn't changed a bit, even if the actress has..)

Well, she has and she hasn't. who was first...Lisa Peluso or Roya
Magott (sorry about the spelling)? And then they bounce between the
two for a little bit. Now we have Lisa Peluso.

Where's that family tree when you need it?

Okay:

- Isabelle was married to Cabot (he's dead now).
- Cabot fathered Shana (Isabelle is not the mother).
- Isabelle bore Clay (Tim Sullivan, now also dead, is the father). She
raised Clay as an Alden by marrying Cabot and not telling anyone
(Cabot and Isabelle knew; Tim did not until he showed up in Corinth
to reclaim his beloved "'belle"; Clay only just found out as Tim
  was dying).
- Isabelle and Cabot produced Ann Alden (off the show now, but alive).
- Clay and Gwyneth produced Rick (now dead) out of wedlock and Gwyn
gave him up for adoption (Clay did not know she was pregnant). Rick
resurfaced later and caused a lot of problems, especially for
Stacey. Heather is Rick and Stacey's child.
- Clay married Gwyn.
- They also produced Trisha (now presumed dead; we know she is off to
Rome with Jeff Hartman) and Curtis.
- Cooper is the son of a brother of Cabot's. (Cooper's
father was Cabot's brother; he calls Isabelle Aunt Isabelle). Both
  of Cooper's parents are dead.

Hope this helps. I know there is a family tree out there somewhere.

Anne Alden married Roger Forbes

Clay's child with Abril (HOW could I have forgotten Abril) is Tommy.

Anne is an Alden by birth. She married Roger Forbes. Anne had Jack
(Dane Hammond was the father, we're not sure if Anne had Jack or
adopted Jack, Rogfer definately adopted Jack). Roger Forbes was played
by John Shearin. Merrill Vochek had an affair with Roger. Anne kicked
Roger out. The book I have to suplement my knowledge does not say
anything about Roger's death...nor Anne's grief. (It might, I just
skimmed looking for "Roger" and didn't see anything more.)

The original Curtis was played by Chris Marcantel. He is listed as
Anne's spoiled nephew from Europe.

Now, Clay. Ahhh, those were the days (that's about when I came in).
Randolph Mantooth was playing Clay. But really, he was Alex Masters
pretending to be Clay. He was accepted into the family (actually, they
liked him better than the old Clay). The real Clay returned and was
not happy that the family perferred Alex's Clay to the real one. So,
Clay decided to destroy Alex. Clay took Ava away from Alex. Alex
married Egypt and moved away with his and Ava's son, Sandy. There was
a well involved (but not nearly as long as Natalie's stay) where Alex
and Clay had to work together to get out and we learned about their
interment in a prisoner of war camp and how Alex was brainwashed and
his strange behavior was becasue of the brainwashing and how Alex just
wanted to be part of Clay's family, and he had grown to know and love
the Alden's from Clay's stories and he didn't want them to think their
son had died, so he pretened to be Clay. I remember one episode when
people started to wonder since Clay is alergic to seafood and Alex
loved it. Ava told him to be careful, he's alergic to seafood. Ava
married Alex when he was Clay and when the real Clay came back, he
told her that meant she was married to Clay Alden...whoever that was.
But, Ava had married Alex in a secret ceremony once she learned he was
pretending to be Clay Alden (she wanted to be an Alden more than
anything).

He was Clay Aldens best friend and they were in a concentration camp
together. Alex came back and pretended to be Clay because he thought Clay
was dead. He ended up marrying someone named Eden? I think. They then
moved away then. There is alot more to it than that but that is a basic

>Uh, who's Alex Masters?

Alex Masters pretened to be Clay Alden when he came to town. Alex and
Clay had been interred in a prison camp and Clay told Alex about his
family and all the nasty things Clay had done (okay, not ALL the nasty
things) and how Clay was sorry (now that the end of his life was near,
it seems) and he wished he could make it up to the family. Well, Alex
saw them cart Clay off for execution. When Alex got out, he went to
Corinth and became Clay Alden. The Clay Alden people love. Ava married
Alex when he was Clay (and I'm pretty sure she secretly married him as
Alex). People started getting suspicious when Alex (as Clay) was not
allergic to the things Clay was (like seafood). When the real Clay came
back, he was upset that the family liked the new and improved Clay
(Alex) better than the original. Clay schemed and plotted to get even
with Alex. He tried to get Ava away from Alex. Clay used Ava's love of
money to get her turn from Alex and towards the Alden money.

Anyhow. Ava and Alex had a baby (Sandy) on a plane. Alex's ex-wife
Egypt saw Clay's (Alex's) picture on a business magazine adn figured
he was conning someone. She came to Corinth to claim her share. Seems
she had left him for a shoe salesman a while ago. Well, Egypt decided
she wanted Alex back. But Ava wanted to keep him. Jello was involved.
No, not wrestling, just in the faces.

Alex left Corinth with Egypt when she got pregnant with Alex's baby.
Sandy went with Alex and Egypt.

Anything else I can help you with?

Randy first appeared as "Clay Alden". Seems he and the real Clay were in the
CIA and prisoners together. When they escaped, he thought Clay died and took
his identity because he liked the idea $$$ and the Alden family. He claimed he
had marvelous plastic surgery even though he still didn't look like the real
Clay, but the family bought it. Cabot turned over the reigns of AE to Shana
as Board Chair and Clay (Alex) as President. Alex manipulated things so Shana
got out and then he found out he couldn't run the company himself. (He had a
few business courses, amazing he could run a company like AE.) Eventually the
writers turned the character into a real good guy. The real Clay came back
much to everyone's surprise and dismay. Alex was more accepted, closer to the
family than Clay. Ava married him when she thought he was Clay, married him
as ALex in a secret ceremony before everyone else knew who he really was.
Sandy (Alexander) is their son. Alex slept one night with his ex (Egypt), got
her pregnant (Of course), and decided he was madly in love with Egypt. Sandy
lives with his father, step-mother, and half sister in the state of Washington.

It'll be interesting to see what they do with Ava/Jeremy/Alex. Anyone want to
bet that Egypt bit the dust from some rare disease so Alex comes back with ust
Sandy?

Sad news to report this morning. My local newspaper reports
that Bernie Barrow died Wednesday of lung cancer. The blurb
read as follows:

Bernie Barrow -- who survived prostate cancer as
Louie Slavinsky on ABC's daytime serial "Loving" --
died of lung cancer Wednesday at New York's
Lenox Hospital. Said producer Haidee Granger: "Bernie
brought zest and joie de vivre to his role and made
the task of creating a daily show a true pleasure."

I hadn't even realized he was sick. Quite a shock when I
saw this.

Okay, I haven't been watching all that long, but I'll see if I can
explain this whole thing.

Ally and Casey are madly in love with each other, and have been for quite
some time.

Ally and Cooper spent the night together (once) under some strange
circumstances that I know nothing about. Ally got pregnant.

Ally is very worried about money and stuff. The three got together and
agreed that Ally and Cooper would get married so the baby would have
health coverage during delivery and would get a trust fund. Then Cooper
and Ally would get divorced.

So, Ally and Cooper got married just before the baby was born. Casey
ended up being with Ally when the baby was delivered, which was good
since he had been to all of the Lamaze classes with Ally.

Cooper has fallen in love (maybe, it's hard to tell sometimes) with Ally.
Ally doesn't love Cooper, she's still in love with Casey.

Cooper is being very manipulative, and I don't care for him much. He
has arranged with his Aunt Isabel for her to "disown" him. He followed
Ally when she moved out of the mansion. He hasn't really lost his trust
fund, and Tyler will always have money. He is now using this incident
with Tyler to guilt Ally into staying with him.

So, does that explain it?

I think that Ally should take some time away from both guys, and possibly
even away from Tyler. Tyler could stay with Kate or with Cooper. She
needs to decide just what she is going to do.

Casey needs to give Ally a little more space. Cooper needs to stop
trying to manipulate people into doing what he wants.

Just my $1.00 worth!

Shana married Father Jim. Twice. She and Jim had a baby, Little Jimmy.
Unfortunately, both Jim and Jimmy died in a plane crash, coming home
to Corinth from Europe. Shana was at the airport and saw the accident.
She regressed back to the first time Dane Hammond brought her to
Corinth...to blackmail Cabot. It took awhile, but she finally got back
to "real" time and she greived for Jim. She ocassionally goes to their
graves and talks to Jim. She told him about her idea to get pregnant.
Yes, Shana was talking about that Jim with Trucker.

>	2) Are Stacey's kids Jack's? Where is Jack?

Stacey and Jack had JJ. Stacey and Jack's cousin Rick (Clay's
illegitimate son) had Heather. Rick is dead. Jack is presumed dead, he
and Stacey were on the Alden boat and he fell off at sea. Jack's body
was never found (a body was found, and Clay identified it as Jack so
that Stacey wouldn't have to worry about that, but Jeremy proved it
was NOT Jack). Clay tried to drive Stacey crazy so that he could have
her shares of AE stock so that he could rule the company.

>	3) Who was Trisha? I know she was married to Trucker,
>she is Christoper's mother, and that she died, but why did she die?

Trisha is Clay and Gwyn's daughter, Curtis's sister. She did not die.
Everyone thinks she died since her car went off a cliff and there was
a burned-beyond-recognition body (it belonged to the carjacker, Trisha
was thrown from the car and she had amnesia and wandered around for a
few days). The actress wanted off the show, so the writers made it
possible for her to return in the future. Actually, Trisha went off
to Rome with an old flame that was in a mental hospital for his
deranged thoughts about hima nd Trisha. Once the authorities found out
Trisha "died", they figured Jeff was a safe bet for society and
released him. He was hungry, so he stopped at the diner where,
amazingly, Trisha had gotten a job.

>	4) What is the connection with Loving and All My Children?

Well, they are taped in the same building.
Ally watches All My Children.
Jeremy, Trevor, and others (Dinah Lee and Hannah from Loving) traverse
the corridor and pop in on the other show ocassionally, some to stay.
In real life, Tad, AMC is married to Tess, LOVING.
Trevor, AMC is married to Shana, LOVING.
The shows are usually seen together (Loving is on at 12:30 here and
  AMC at 1)

>	5) Didn't Jack have a sister? Where is she?

Yes, Travis and Jack had a sister (Christine?). She fell off a boat
and for years, Jack took the blame since Travis was their father's
favorite and he could NEVER be responsible for someone's death.

Opps. Wrong show...that's AMC...since Jack is presumed dead on
Loving, when I hear "Jack", I now think AMC...sorry.

Jack Frobes. Lorna Forbes. Yes. I'm not sure what happened to her,
that seems to be before my time.

Lorna married a hot shot lawyer and they live in California. He got her off
the hook on a murder rap (she really didn't do it). She is mentioned at the
approprite family times - hubby always has an important court case and they

First I want to say I'm sorry this reply took so long. I was on

>Huh? What was she talking about?

Stacey and Jack got divorced over his affair with Lily. He broke off
the affair when Stacey was in a bank while it was being robbed. Steve
(then Trisha's husband) died protecting Stacey and JJ. This near
tragedy for Jack showed how much he loved Stacey and JJ and he ended
the affair. Stacey found out about it and divorced Jack. She and Jack
were divorced when she and Rick had Heather. (Actually, Stacey was in
Florida, with her mother when she had Heather, she wanted nothing to
do with Rick by that time. I think Jack took the train to Florida to
be with her.)

I think Stacey still has the stock, but it's a moot point now, since
Isabelle gave Clay her stock and he has controlling interest in Alden
Enterprises now.

Jack and Stacey remarried and on their second honeymoon they went for
a crusie on the Alden yacht. Jack fell over and was presumed drowned.
Clay married Stacey (for her stock). I'm not sure why Jack left (it
has been awhile).

>would have gone to Trisha for help, but he couldn't.

I would assume Trisha still has amnesia, or she would be with Trucker.
I don't think she knew about the car accident. She didn't know who she
was, why she was at the diner, or what happened to her to make her
look so beat up. The waitress thought she had been beaten by her
boyfriend/lover/husband. Trisha went to the police station to see if
she had been reported missing. (nope - besides, who reports a dead
person missing?) Trisha loved Jeff at one time (before he became
obsessed with her and tried to keep her away from her one true love,
Trucker). Also, it didn't help that she found out he had slept with
her mother while he was sleeping with her (well, not all together, but
you get the idea). Trucker had slept with Gwyn, too, but at least not
while he was professing undying love for Trisha.

Jeff found Trisha in a confused state. I will give him credit (a
little), he tried to call Trucker, but couldn't get a hold of anyone -
they were all at the funeral service. So, Jeff invited Trisha to go to
Rome with him as his assistant and make a new life.

Trisha was the one good Alden, uneffected by the money. She was a good
soul, and would help anyone.

>	Speaking of Gwen, are her and Clay still married? If she
>is, why is she with Buck? Who is the "Alden" - her or Clay?

Clay and Gwyn are not married. They almost got married so that Clay
would inherit Alden Enterprises, but they missed the deadline.
Technically, neither one is an "Alden". Clay is Isabelle's son. But,
his father was Tim Sullivan (now dead), a stable hand for the Alden's.
Isabelle married a man she did not love to give Clay a good name.
Cabot Alden hated his "son" Clay and took it out on Clay every chance
he got. Clay worked hard to get his father's acceptance, but never
succeeded, not knowing why (until recently). So, Clay is not an Alden,
that meand Gwyn, Curtis, and Trisha are not Al;den, either, but
Isabelle, Gwyn, Clay, and Stacey are the only ones that know (I think).

Yea. Except you forgot Hannah in all that. Cooper loved Hannah. He
wanted to go to New York to surprise her. Isabelle did not want Cooper
and Hannah together, so she paid someone to break them apart. He did a
good job. Cooper went to New York and found out that Hannah was
staying with this guy. Hannah came out of the shower and told the
other guy (not knowing Cooper was standing in the doorway), that she
was glad he talked her into IT last night, it was so beautiful, she
never dreamed it could like that. Cooper ran out after caller Hannah a
few names (slut comes to mind). Ally was there and they consoled each
other and made love.

>	What is Casey's background? Does he have family? What about
>Steph? She mentions her mother, but so far, I haven't seen her.

Casey's father was Giff Bowman. Casey's mother died and Giff left his
son. Giff also became obsessed with Trisha (this is almost as bad as
Bo's wives on OLTL), and he kidnapped her and took her to the AE
University Bell Tower, where he shot Trucker and they both fell from
teh tower. Giff died. Casey took it hard and blamed himself for not
seeing it coming.

Stephanie comes from a once wealthy family, but now they are on the
downside and she is embarrassed to let anyone see her house or family.
I got the impression that her mother drinks and Stephanie is
embarrased.

Ah HA!

Chroniclogically (or close): Warning...this is probably MORE than you
ever wanted to know - but it goes to show how intertwinned the stories
get :-)

Alex/Clay came to town.
Ava married him as Clay.
Ava discovered he was Alex and helped him remain Clay (she told him
Clay was alergic to seafood...which Alex mentioned when he told Dinah
Lee that he knew more about Clay than Clay did - he even knows
what Clay is alergic to...which I though was good continuity).
Ava married him (secretly) as Alex.
Egypt saw Alex/Clay's face on the cover of a magazine and came to Corinth.
Alex couldn't find his divorce papers, so he gave her a fake set. She
saw through that, but decided to remain mum about his being Alex,
not Clay...if he made her the hostess of "Image".
Ava was pregnant but had a miscarriage. She later found out she had
been carrying twins and one had survived.
DAN, who knew Alex/Clay had evidense against him, told Ava Alex and Egypt
were having an affair (not true).
Ava went to Las Vegas and almost ended up in an harem. Alex follwed
her there and followed her on board a plane home.
Ava gave birth to Sandy on a plane, with Alex by her side. They named
him after Cabot (this I am sure of, but I do not know how) and
AlexSANDer (I am pretty sure his real name is not Sandy...).
Alex/Clay dissapeared during Sandy's christening.
Harry was arrested for Alex/Clay's murder.
Clay came home.
Alex was in a hospital in Central America. He escaped. Abril and Lucho
found him and nursed him back to health. Jack found Alex.
Clay told Ava she was in danger,a nd he took her away and tried to bed
    her (didn't work).
Alex came back to Corinth, wounded. Egypt was thrilled to hide him and
nurse him back to health. Egypt removed the bullet from Alex.
Clay made Alex BELIEVE he was having an affair with Ava ("You know
    she's after the Alden prestigue...")
Ava and Eqypt had the jello fight.
Clay made Ava beleive Alex was having an affair with Egypt.
Alex (from the POW brainwashing) tried to kill Clay. Ava stopped him
and Alex took this as a sign that Ava loved Clay.
Ava "admitted" to Alex about her affair with Clay, since she thought
Alex was having one with Egypt, so she hurt him, too. (Remember,
    neither was true, yet.)
Alex had an affair with Egypt.
Ava got a job at Armourelle.
Alex kidnapped Sandy and left him with Abrill at Jack's.
Clay told Alex that Clay and Ava would be married.
Ava and Alex aggreed to let Sandy stay with Kate. (Alex refused to let
Clay raise his son, and Ava refused to let Alex have him, since he
needed theraphy for trying to kill Clay.)
Alex, Trucker, Ava, Clay and a lot of Corinth residents went to Maine.
Alex wanted to get info on Clay to ruin him (about the accident, I
think). Ava ended up in a mental hospital. Clay and Alex ended up in
a mine shaft, and Clay pulled a gun on Alex, but admitted he couldn't
    kill him.
Alex went for theraphy.
Egypt decided to have Alex's baby...now, if she could just get him to
    cooperate...
"Trisha" died in a van explosing Jeff had masterminded. (It wasn't
Trisha, but everyone thought it was...sound familiar?)
Egypt was pregnant, and she decided to have the baby, with or without
    Alex.
When Clay found out that Ava and Alex were back together, Clay told
Alex Egypt was pregnant - with Alex's baby.
Alex married Egypt, they had Alexis and moved out of town.

I don't think Ava had an affair with Clay. I remember her being torn
between Clay and his money and Alex and her love for him. She was at
the selfish stage and she thought money would buy her happiness and
make up for the things she didn't have growing up. Clay made it look
and sound like Ava wanted him, but I think it was a comedy of mistakes
and niscommunications. I remember telling the television that if they
would TALK to each other, things would be fine...like when Stacey and
Buck had their recent conversation, if Buck would have said...why are
you making such a big deal about a JET...Stacey would have
realized...but, then, where would the fun be?

Egypt/Alex/Ava
--------------

Where to start? Alex came to Corinth pretending to be Clay, after a
war and some plastic surgery. He fell in love with Ava, and she fell
in love with "Clay" (and expecially the Alden money). She really loved
this man, and when it was discovered (by her) that he was NOT Clay
Alden, but a con man, she loved him anyway, and married him in secret
(so, she was married to Clay Alden AND Alex Masters...).

Now, Egypt had been married to Alex Masters awhile (read as, the show
never mentioned it until they thought of it) ago and, as Clay Alden, he
got his face on the cover of a business magazine. Egypt saw it and
came to Corinth to get her "share" of the scam. When she showed up in
town, she blackmailed her way into hosting the TV program Trisha and
Jeff were producing. Egypt managed to get between Alex and Ava, and
she got pregnant with Alex's baby. Alex married her and they left
town, with Alexis (their daughter). Ava realized she wanted fun more
than motherhood and she let Sandy (her and Alex's son) live with
Egypt, Alex and Alexis.

Egypt left Alex during their first marraige for a shoe salesman.

Clay (the real one) came back and wanted what Alex had (read as Ava)
since the Aldens seemed to prefer Alex instead of Clay as Clay. Clay
is holding a grudge against Alex for being a better son to Cabot and
Isabelle.

There are more details, like the well insident and how Alex decided
Ava loved Clay when she stepped between Alex's gun and Clay.

Clay and Gwyn
-------------

Gwyn has always loved Clay, ever since high school when she was the
poor girl from teh other side of the tracks. She got pregnant
(unknownest to Clay) and I think Isabelle helped Gwyn by payign for an
abortion Gwyn did not have. Rick was the result, and he is now
dead. He came back a few years ago and wanted to claim his place in
Alden society. He was shot and it was thought Stacey did it. She
didn't, some sleeze bag he was working for did.

Gwyn and Clay eventually married and they have two children, Trisha
and Curtis. They think Trisha is dead (she is not, she has amnesia and
is living in Europe with a psycho ex-husband). They have gotten
divorced, but there is an undeniable attraction there for both of
them. They realize the pain that is possible if they allow themsleves
to admit to the love, so they don't get together, but they have had
romances with other people, Gwyn has romanced most of Trisha's
husbands, as well as Bcuk, Rosario (the Alden Enterprises Lawyer) and
others. Clay has married Carly (Ava's sister who is now maried to
Ava's ex-finance in the wheelchair Joe, Louie's son) and he has gotten
Abrill pregnant with Tommy, who she decided to give to Trisha, but
later changed her mind when Clay sued for custody of his own son so he
could have control of Alden Enterprises).

Stephanie
---------

We don't know too much about Stephanie's family and background. She
doesn't let people into the house, using excuses like the painters are
here and all the furniture is coverd with drop cloths...but I think
she finally admitted that her family was rich and is now poor, but her
mother doesn't seem to get it, and all she does is drink and spend.

Stephanie, Cooper, Ally, Casey, and Hannah were all attending Alden
University together. Hannah loved Cooper, Casey loved Ally, Ally loved
Cooper, then Casey, Stephanie lusted after Casey, and Cooper wasn't
sure, so he dated all three girls. Cooper finally decided he loved
Hannah (as Isabelle said. That Mayberry Girl), and they got
engaged. Isabelle arranged for Hannah to go to NY for piano lessons,
and then had someone try to seduce her. He managed to get her kicked
otu of ther hotel room and invited her to stay with him, (cough cough)
temporarily. Cooper wanted to surprise her for Thanksgiving, and he
went to NY. Ally wanted to give Casey some space, so she decided (with
isabelle's urging) to accompany him to NY so she could see her aunt
Carly. Well, Cooper finally found Hannah at the guy's house, and she
was coming out of the shower, telling Peter how glad she was he talked
her into it last hight, it was wonderful, she never dreamed it could
be as good as that. Of course, she was talkign about the piano duet,
and Cooper misunderstood her to mean sex. He was mad, called her
names, and stormed off. Ally told Hannah not to worry, she would calm
him down and everything would be okay. Peter took the opportunity to
plant seeds of doubt into her head. Anyway, Ally and Cooper consoled
each other (him about hannah, she about Casey) and they made love,
without protection. Tyler is the result.

So, what does this have to do with Stephanie? (Nothing, I like to
ramble...) Actually, after that night, they decided to be friends, and
Ally went back to Casey. When she found out she was pregnant, she was
gonna try to sleep with Casey without protection, so she could tell
him the baby was his, but she couldn't go through with it. She finally
admitted it was Cooper's baby. Cooper, meanwhile, ahd broken off with
hannah, and now wanted Ally. He inlisted Stephanie's help, knowing she
wanted Casey. Acting as Ally's best friend, she let drop little
tidbits about what Casey said and how he was having a hard time with
Ally being pregnantt with another man's baby and all that. Ally went
to Isabelle's cabin, and she called Casey to come to her if he
cared. Stephanie took the message, and didn't give it to him right
away. She finally realized he loved Ally mroe than he would ever love
her and gave him the message. Good thing, too, since the baby decided
to come out now. The phone in the cabin was dead (a portable with a
dead battery), so she decided to walk to the pay phone. Casey saw her
at the phone, and he called the hospital, and took her there. They
forgot to call Cooper. He found out later and got to the hospital
right after Casey helped Ally through the birth. Casey kinda felt left
out of all the excitment after that as Isabelle came in with flowers
and all. Stephanie is still trying to get Casey to love her and Ally
thinks that they (Casey and Stephanie) slept together more than once,
thanks to Cooper's blackmailing Casey. Cooper told Casey that Ally
could have visitation rights if he broke off with her and never saw
her again. So, Casey and Stephanie made ti look like they slept
together again.

Casey loves Ally, Ally loves Casey, but they are both in denial. Ally
wants what is best for Tyler, which is the Alden name and money.

hey, I was looking through my files looking for something else and I found
this file that I had saved back in 1989 where you had posted the year in
review (we didn't write back then, I must have saved it to read later).
Anyway, here it is in case you want to send it to that guy in Africa:

LOVING - The Year In Review - 1989
(as taken from Soap Opera Digest, Dec 26, 1989)

When Gwyn blackmailed Jeff into dumping her daughter, Trisha turned
to Trucker McKenzie. Alex Masters, posing as Clay Alden, discovered
that Trucker had been improsoned in Maine for vehicular manslaughter,
but had taken the rap for the real Clay. Trucker's sister, Rocky,
joined her brother in Corinth and was immediately drawn to Egypt's
brother, Todd.

In order to make Trucker appear violent and untrustworthy to Trisha,
Gwyn and Jeff set it up to look like McKenzie beat up Gwyn. Trisha
agreed to go to Rome with Jeff, where they married. Soon after, the
fight between Jeff and Trucker left Hartman paralyzed. He successfully
used his paralysis to keep Trisha from divorcing him. When he was able
to walk again, Jeff kept it a secret and eventually learned that
Trucker and Trisha had resumed their love affair.

When Stacey's book was released, Jack was surprised that it was so
racy. During their divorce case, Stacey was forced to sever her
relationship with Rick ALden in order to gain custody of her son, JJ.
However, Stacey was carrying Rick's child and agreed to marry him.
With the help of Juliette, Rick drugged Stacey in an effort to control
her. When Stacey learned the truth, she demanded a divorce. Later, she
gave birth to a daughter, Heather.

Ava delivered Clay/Alex's son, Cabot Alexander (nicknamed Sandy), on a
plane. Soon after, Clay weas missing and Harry was arrested for his
murder. Dan Hollister was framing Harry. At the arraignment, the real
Clay Alden turned up alive. While Alex was missing, Clay tricker Ava
into an affair. Escaping from government agents in Central America,
Alex was saved by Jack and Abril Domecq, who returned to Corinth with
them. At Egypt's, Dan tried to kill Alex, but Todd stumbled upon them
and saved Alex at the expense of Dan's life.

Through both Clay's and Alex's flashbacks, it was learned that they
depended on each other for survival in the POW camp. However, when Clay
returned to Corinth, he hated ALex for taking over his life. Even though
Alex was still in love with Ava, once he learned that she has slept with
Clay, he turned to Egypt (who had never stopped loving her ex-husband)
for comfort. Meanwhile, Clay hired an unqualified Ava to work for
Armorelle and they continued their affair.

Curtis returned to Corinth after the death of his wife, Lotty. He and
Todd opened a restraunt, TJ's, together. Eventually, Rocky drew closer
to Curtis. Rocky befriended a homeless girl named Jolie, who fell in
love with Trucker but kept it a secret. She had her friend, Dale,
planned on kidnapping Trisha for a hefty ransom.

Charles, Jeff's father, was killed in a car accidnet...Jim and a
pregnant Shana reconciled and left Corinth...Harry left town and,
later, reunited with Ann.
